Our Story

E6:11 was founded on the principle that faith and business can coexist. Our mission is to deliver high-quality training and consulting services guided by biblical values and responsible stewardship. For nearly 20 years, we’ve supported Chicagoland’s houses of worship, organizations, and industries in developing Christ-centered safety programs that help plan, prepare, and protect—serving GOD wherever He leads.

E6:11 Began Out of Necessity

When Illinois enacted its Concealed Carry (CCW) law, many church members joined safety and security ministries with minimal formal training, having only completed the state’s 16-hour CCW course. This limited preparation exposed critical gaps in handling high-stress situations. To address this, we introduced comprehensive training focused on rapid decision-making, proper weapon handling, situational awareness, and conflict de-escalation — ensuring safety while preserving the church’s welcoming environment.

At E611, we believe every individual—regardless of faith, beliefs, or worldview—deserves to feel safe. This principle guides our mission to deliver training, consultation, and protection solutions for all organizations, without regard to religious, political, or ideological affiliation.

Our Leadership

Faith, Protection, and Preparedness: The Eddie Hoyos Approach

Fueled by faith and with 25 years of experience in physical security, executive protection, and emergency response, I specialize in developing and delivering training programs in emergency protocols, First Aid, AED, and CPR. For the past 15 years, I’ve led cross-sector safety teams and initiatives focused on public safety, workplace violence prevention and intervention, threat mitigation, and physical security. Most recently, I served as Training Specialist for the Chicago Cubs, managing strategic planning and training for security operations, executive protection and crowd control for ownership, players, VIPs, and staff. My credentials include certifications from DHS, ATF, FEMA, Illinois State Police, and the ALICE Institute.


I am a work in progress, held by a perfect God and a grateful servant of Jesus Christ, called to love and strengthen others as we follow and imitate Him.
